SES Improvements

5 steps to improvement
SORT
Separate what is needed from what is not needed. Keep only what is necessary.

SET-IN-ORDER
Place everything closest to the point of use. A place for everything and everything in its place.

SHINE
Establish cleaning as a form of inspection. Ensure that areas are tidy and sanitary.

STANDARDIZE
Establish policies and procedures that will assist in maintaining or improving the first three S's.

SUSTAIN
Establish and create behaviors and a culture where daily improvements and maintenance are the norm.

The 5 Ss
